It's time for some campaignin'!

Saw this on the news and had to check it out. It's great for a good laugh. I personalized it so Michael is the voter (check his cameo out at the very end). Enjoy! (Don't miss the latest post below with more pictures!)

Per Request, more pictures of Michael

So I've had a lot of people asking me for more pictures of Michael. Hey, I'm working on it! But here are a few more for you to view for now.

Michael and I are getting ready for Gram and Gramp's visit this Friday. I have to say that I am working a lot harder than Michael. He keeps distracting me with his cute little babble and fluttering of emotions throughout the day.

Hope everyone is doing well. Did you know you can comment to my blog postings on here? Would love to hear from everyone! Just click on the "Comments" link below this posting to create a comment to the blog. Let's see if anyone cares...

Growing boy!

The county nurse stopped in again to check on Michael since his discharge from the hospital. Michael has been making great growing progress! He now weighs in at 11 pounds 6 oz and is 23 inches long! It's hard to believe he's past the 10 lb. mark already, but I guess they can't stay tiny forever!

Below are some recent pictures we thought you might enjoy. We're looking forward to seeing Gram and Gramps this weekend!! They will be staying with us this time, so they will get to see a LOT of little Michael.

Michael is loving his swing and his rocker seat, among a lot of other things he is learning to discover. So thanks to those who gave them to us!

Michael gets a visit from his Cousins!

Yesterday my sister, Tammy, her two little boys (Matthew and Todd), and my Mom came to visit us for the day. We took the boys to Onondaga Lake Park, where we picnicked by the lake and the boys played on the playground. They also found it fun to chase the seagulls lurking about trying to catch some picnic leftovers.

Then, we went to Green Lakes State Park where the boys went swimming, played in the sand and hung out on the beach with Tammy and Grandma Mangan. Michael and I hung out in the shade ourselves. :)

More pictures of our adventurous day here.

Happy 1 Month of Life, Michael!

Born June 9th

Michael turns 1 month!

Michael turns 1 month old today! I can't believe it! It literally seems like yesterday that he was born and we were worrying over him in the NICU. Now he is home with us, everyday, happy and healthy!

Here are some recent pictures, the jungle mat ones are from today...happy birthday, Michael! We love you! :)

Dan's Visit

Uncle Dan holding Michael

We had a nice surprise visit from Dan this weekend. He came up on an impulse to see his lovely girlfriend, Laurel. He just finished moving to Richmond, VA for a new job as an airplane instructor.

Laurel & Dan-aww, how cute!

Dan and Laurel came over to visit last night and we made sure to take lots of pictures of Dan holding Michael. (Since we forgot to take pictures the last time!)

Below are some pictures from the visit. As always, more on his online gallery.

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July everyone! For the 4th we went for our first big trip up to PL to visit the family. It was Michael's first real trip since he left the hospital, other than the park with Gram and Gramps. He slept pretty much the entire ride up...he was a very good boy.

We watched fireworks up at Kraeger's house on the 4th. Michael, Daddy and I watched from inside our car so it wouldn't be too loud for his little ears. Michael seemed to enjoy the fireworks, he would look at sky and seemed quite content.

Below are some pictures I took from our visit to PL. More are posted to his online gallery.

Visit from the Hezelites

Michael "I do NOT look like George Constanza" Stern

Today Michael and I were fortunate enough to get a nice visit from the girls at the office. I snapped a few pictures of Jill, Anna, Kathy and Leia holding him. Here are a few of them, the rest are posted on his online gallery.

It was nice to see everyone from the office...not everyone came of course, the boys stayed hard at work. Naturally not much has changed there since I've been out. Jill apparently has taken over the Marketing workspace...doing everything (God bless her) and making herself comfy at whatever computer she feels like working at that particular day. Have to do something when you are the only one in the Marketing department, so playing musical chairs with the computers is the way to go for her. :) (Just kidding, Jill!) I hope she is doing well with handling all the new tasks she's taking over for me. I'm sure she's doing a great job, though.

Short post...that's all for now. Going up to PL for the 4th this weekend...will have many photos when I return, I'm sure.
